Use Ps3 Controller For Ppsspp
PPSSPP is an open source project, licensed under the GPL 2.0 (or later). Anyone is welcome to contribute improvements to the code. Partly thanks to such contributions, PPSSPP's compatibility is steadily increasing, letting us all play our PSP games on the devices of our choice. Pretty much exactly what the title says, really. I'm using a DS3 controller with Scarlet.Crush and it normally works fine. Occasionally, PPSSPP and ONLY PPSSPP decides that for whatever reason, inputs from the controller aren't gonna be registered anymore. | How to hook up my PS3 controller to the Windows emulator? I just downloaded the windows emulator so i could play Kingdom Hearts BBS and when i started it up, i went to configure the controls to my controller and it doesn't seem to be picking up whenever i hit button on the controller but my PCSX2 emulator does, any solutions? |

I'm not sure how PCSX2 does it, but it might talk directly to the PS3 controller with RawInput or something, while PPSSPP uses DirectInput and/or XInput, which are built-in to Windows itself. So if your computer doesn't 'understand' what a PS3 controller is on its own, PPSSPP won't, either. I have the controller plugged in through a USB. I am using a Toshiba laptop with Windows on it. I thinks its the newest Windows. How do I set it up? |
